Hardwork can get you to a place but lack of character can destroy it.
Holiness is the foundation for your glorious destiny in Christ.
Walking in the highway of holiness is the foundation that secures the future of a believer. It sets the pace for accessing your inheritance.
– Obad. 1:17
The highway of God demands the price of purity.
Sin is a damager, but God is your eternal forgiver.
When forgiveness comes, refreshing from the presence of the Lord comes to validate it.
– Acts 3:19
1. Holiness secures health and vitality. – Mark 2:1-12
– Some conditions in your life require asking for forgiveness to be made whole.
2. Holiness ensures profitable giving. – Mal. 3:1-5, Matt. 5:23-24
– It takes the integrity of heart to render an acceptable offering to God.
You don’t have to cheat anyone to make it.
God is never in need; He blesses you in return for your giving.
1. The spirit of disobedience. – Eph. 2:1-2, Deut. 28:15
– It makes you disregard God’s instructions and incur a curse on your life.
– Remedy: A choice to walk in delightsome obedience and receive the grace for obedience at all times.
2. Lying spirits. – John 8:44, Rev. 21:8
– Lying is a spirit of the devil; don’t bear any of his identities so you won’t be displaced in eternity.
Remedy: The Spirit of truth. – John 14:16-17
3. The spirit of pride. – Isa. 14:12-15, 2 Chro. 26:15-16
– The greatest challenge of your turnaround as a believer is pride. Pride is an evil spirit and its mission is to destroy.
Remedy: The quickening power of the Holy Spirit that mortifies the deeds of the flesh when engaged.
Conquering Controlling Powers:
1. Through the Holy Spirit. – Rom. 8:13
– He is the quickening Spirit that quenches all the notions of the flesh in your body.
2. Through the Spirit of dedication. – Isaiah 42:1
– It keeps the believer going after godliness in season and out of season.
Holiness is not a state of perfection but an undying hunger and thirst after righteousness.
– Matt. 5:6
It is not a destination but an adventure.
– Phil. 3:12-13
Covenant Day of Restoration
We serve a restorer God, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, among others, is to restore honour and beauty into our lives. – Jer. 30:17, Isa. 61:7, Joel 2:23-25
Only God restores years. Therefore, your lost years are restored unto you today!
To secure your heritage of restoration:
1. Be born again. – Rom. 8:29-30, John 10:10
– New birth restores the dignity of royalty to you.
2. Receive and believe the Word concerning your restoration. – Zeph. 3:17-19
– To access your heritage of restoration in God, don’t toy with the Word.
3. Be committed to serving God and the interest of His Kingdom. -2Chro.15:3-15
4. Engage the blood covenant to enforce your restoration. – Zech. 9:12
5. Be committed to praying for the well-being of others.
– There is no good seed you sow that you won’t reap. Therefore, dedicate time to pray for others.
